Direct Fitness, realises that its not just the gym element which makes a succesful health club or fitness facility.
Setting up health clubs all over the UK and even into Europe has meant we have seen the best and most creative sites there is.
From the most successful sites we work with the owners/managers do not just fill a room with fitness equipment and open the doors, they create a "lifestyle" a "comfort zone" for members and allow them to have the complete experience and not want to rush home.
For example, clients we surveyed were six times more likely to continue their memberships at a health club if it had a coffee and snack area. This allowed them to relax and wind down after their workout more so than if the gym didnt have one.
From 100 regular sunbed users 80 said they would use one at the health club they trained at if it had one.
And finally, from 100 members of a selcted health club over half would use supplements to increase the chances of them reaching their goals, if they were properly informed of what to take and when.
To put this into perspective if the gym didnt offer these "small incentives" not only were they risking losing the member but also the initial SECONDARY SPEND within the site!!!!
